Our approach to materials
We all know our world has finite resources that are being consumed far too quickly. The question is what we can practically do to correct the imbalance. At Woodstock, we believe in sourcing certified timber from forests that have been responsibly managed. This helps to ensure a supply for generations to come and also preserves vital wildlife habitats.
We are proud of the fact that we heat the workshop by recycling shavings, sawdust and offcuts. They are turned into briquettes which we then burn during the winter months to keep everyone warm. It's a zero carbon system, which just goes to show the way in which a business like ours can make a positive contribution to the environment.
