The working procedure is very straightforward. Our designers can work closely with you or an architect or interior designer of your choice. As a first step we establish exactly what you want allowing adequate time for the design and planning stage. Our designers will produce a set of design drawings and full costing quotation for the project.
Once commissioned we visit the site to confirm dimensions. Materials, plumbing and electrical schedules and anything else necessary for the successful conclusion of the project are carefully considered. We prefer working to a timescale which takes proper account of the exacting Woodstock standards, but we also take pride in our ability to meet deadlines without compromising our quality.
Below is a breakdown of the stages involved in a project.
1. Initial Site Meeting
Following an initial conversation, a Woodstock designer will visit your home to familiarise ourselves with yourselves and your space. At this meeting we will obtain a full brief from you and discuss your project in full.
We will advise on possible reconfiguration of space to suit your brief and obtain a fully site survey. If the space is not yet constructed, we can successfully work from architecture drawings. This consultation is free to local clients and a charge may be made for distant projects.
This charge is redeemable when an order is being placed.
2. First Design Presentation
Following our initial site meeting we will produce our initial design in the form of plans and elevations. From these designs we will produce a full costing quotation including delivery and installation for the design we have produced. Within 2-3 weeks we will meet with you again to discuss and present this design.
At this meeting, the design will be brainstormed and if there are any alternations these will be addressed following the meeting.
3. Commissioning Your Project
A 25% deposit secures your order and indicates your commitment to Woodstock. A convenient delivery and installation date can then be booked. On average, this is within 8-10 weeks of an order being placed.
4. Service And Production Drawings
Once your design is completely resolved and finalised, production detailed drawings for manufacturing can be produced at our workshop. If required within the project, detailed plumbing and electrical drawings are produced. These are discussed thoroughly with your contractor. If required, we can oversee minor projects and recommend for this work.
5. Workshop Manufacturing
At our workshop in Winchester, our dedicated team of cabinet makers will then turn your dreams into reality. All our clients are very welcome to see their cabinetry being produced by our skilled craftsmen.
6. Installations
We take enormous pride in the fact that our delivery and installation dates are always met and we never cause delay to our clients. We only use our own specialist fitters for our installations who's every endeavour is for you, the client to be delighted with the finished Woodstock product. An installation is generally carried out within 1-2 weeks and this allows for site templating of granites and stones if applicable.
